Synopsis "Do You Believe in Magic? (in English)"
Do You Believe in Magic? It is 1952 and for the first 12 years of her life, Missy Finn has had to endure having a body that physically, failed to work properly- but things are set to change. On the morning of her 13th birthday, she is handed a shard of shimmering iridescent crystal from her father. The moment her skin makes contact with it, something incredible starts to happen - the crystal throbs, like a beating heart, in her hands and she begins to see all manner of odd images in her mind. The weirdness doesn't stop there though. Later the same day, two elves, brothers, Eldri and Nod appear from out of the airing cupboard. They transport Missy and her parents to Vlissingen, their homeland, to help them to rid Vlissingen of a tyrannical magician named, Gvooorat whose callous enchantments have been what has blighted both, them and Missy alike. Missy and her parents, are soon joined by Zach, a troubled 15-year-old orphan boy from present-day Los Angeles, and then, along with a weird and wonderful assortment of ethereal characters, the ever expanding group set out on a quest to storm the royal palace in Pringholm, capital of Vlissingen, to reinstate the King and Queen back to power and to finally banish the dreaded Gvooorat, from the ethereal world forever.
