When a sorceress sends three teens to another world called Zaias, the timid Adam is forced to travel alongside the aggressive Brendan and judgmental Heather. Accompanied by a swordsman from a village and thief from a desert, they attempt to find a way back home. Adam, a young Christian struggling with his faith and insecurities, attends a college party in the woods against his better judgement. This decision leads him to an unnatural encounter with a mysterious sorceress, who sends him to another dimension known as Zaias! But he's not the only one. Brendan, a troubled youth with a fiery reputation, and Heather, the judgmental daughter of a wealthy businessman, have also ended up in the strange new world. In order to find their way back home, the three teens must embark on a perilous journey to meet an oracle who can help them. This means doing something they never would've even considered under natural circumstances; working together. Their only allies are a swordsman from a village, and a cunning thief from a desert. The dangers of Zaias go beyond the creatures and places the group encounter on their journey. Adam, Brendan, and Heather must not only learn to overcome the physical obstacles of this new world, but their vast differences which have divided them in their own. This is the first book in the ongoing Zaias Series.
