James Dixon aka Hustler is a product of his environment. Raised in the Morris Black projects on Cleveland's East Side, Young Hustler is forced to overcome abuse and neglect at an early age. Due to the circumstances, it doesn't take long for him to become immersed in the criminal subculture surrounding him. As a teenager, Hustler befriends Cutty, a white cocaine dealer from New Orleans with ties to the Columbian Cartel. Afterwards, his main objective is to make it to the top of the drug trade along with his comrade. Under Cutty's tutelage, Hustler obtains power and riches beyond his wildest dreams. However, once his goals are achieved he is forced to contend with the consequences of the career path that he has chosen. It doesn't take long for Hustler to realize that ain't no love in the dope game. There's police, rival crews, dope fiends, and so-called friends plotting against him.
