Each trail includes a detailed analysis regarding difficulty, hiking conditions, distances, campsite features (including detailed analyses of all of the park's almost 300 backcountry campsites), elevation details, and a list of notable points of reference that can be found along the trail (over 2,100 in total), each with its GPS coordinates. The book also includes very detailed appendices with information on over 150 park lakes, 265 streams and rivers, 255 waterfalls, a comprehensive list of the park's 101 thermal fields, details on 145 of the highest mountain peaks, and so much more.
