Synopsis "World of Light and Darkness (in English)"
In a world torn apart by war, a group of intelligent creatures known as Guardians hid humans in a protected underground hideaway. Generations later, a young man named Xenos and his friends have no knowledge of the world above, and are tired of the tyrannical rule of the Guardians. On the day Xenos turns twenty-three macro sleep cycles old, the group finally makes the decision to escape from their home and head toward the light, where freedom hopefully awaits. After training, gathering their arsenal, and bidding the underworld farewell, the friends immediately encounter Guardians determined to do anything in their power to stop the group from leaving. After a fierce battle, only two remain: Xenos and Acres. As they gratefully enter the world of light, it is not long before Acres is lost during yet another ferocious battle. Now Xenos must embark on a dangerous journey alone through deadly deserts, thick jungles, majestic castles and ferocious foes as good clashes against evil and the fate of the world hangs in the balance. In this epic adventure, a young man on a quest to find himself in a world of uncertainty and destruction must attempt to complete a brave mission, even as everything crumbles around him.
