Synopsis "Woman 2 Woman: Life Lessons Learned on the Journey to Marriage, Motherhood, Entrepreneurship, Divorce, Surviving Breast Cancer and Fi (in English)"

WOMAN 2 WOMAN: Life Lessons Learned on the Journey to Marriage, Motherhood, Entrepreneurship, Divorce, Surviving Breast Cancer and Finding New Love is a book that will resonate not just with cancer survivors but individuals who are overcoming any kind of life challenges. The author shares her life journey as a mother, wife and entrepreneur for more than two decades. In it, women, as well as men, can find inspiration and life lessons (tools) that will help them navigate their own life journey of marriage, motherhood, being a business owner or battling cancer.___________In 2014, Delphyne remembered that it was time for her mammogram. Recently divorced and without insurance, Delphyne was a bit lost about as to where she could go for this essential checkup. Fortunately, she went to the Center for Black Women's Wellness and received a free screening through funds received from the Susan G. Komen Greater Atlanta foundation. A few weeks later, Delphyne received the devastating news that she had breast cancer. Luckily, it was caught early. This experience drove her to encourage her family and friends to get screened. Her sister listened, got a mammogram and was also diagnosed with breast cancer. She and her sister underwent chemotherapy together and both defeated the disease. Today, Delphyne is a Komen Atlanta advocate for the metro Atlanta African-American community, sharing the importance of early detection and helping others find the care they need.
