Synopsis "Who Said Love Ain't Always Complicated? (in English)"
"Yes, I said sponsor. He ain't my man. He's just the man that keeps me in a beautiful decked out condo, nice sporty whip, fabulous clothes and any other thing my heart desired. I was his little secret, and I didn't give a damn, as long as he kept me living the life of luxury." Alexis was what most people would call a gold digger, but what she called herself was smart. Her "sponsor" was paying her way through college, every bill she had, and everything in between. In her eyes, she was winning because she could have all the amenities of being in a relationship, but there were no strings attached. At least, that was what she thought. Alexis finds herself in a whirlwind of trouble when her boo, Harry, gets caught up with his wife. That's right; he has a wife and kids at home. Not only does he have a family, but he's the pastor at a church in their community. Harry's wife threatens to ruin both of their lives if the affair doesn't end immediately. In the midst of all the drama that she has going on with Harry, she runs into an old friend, Jamari AKA J-Mac, from high school. They soon realize that after years of no contact with each other, the bond that they shared had never broken. Between family secrets, drama and going through hell with her sugar daddy's pest of a wife, Alexis may have too much baggage to bring into a new relationship. Or is J-Mac man enough to handle everything that comes with Alexis?
