This narrative presents the development of the representation of the projected moving image, the first cinema (1895 - 1915) and the second cinema (1915 - 1930), when the soundtrack and the colourisation of the image ensured the representation of the real. From classical cinema (1930 - 1970), the search for the transcendence of reality began. The narrative follows with modern cinema (1970 - 2000) arriving to digital cinema (2000 - 2014).
