Synopsis "Vida"

En Vida, la mirada de Heinrich Seuse, cargada de un acento claramente cristocéntrico, le lleva a reinterpretar buena parte del pensamiento de su maestro Eckhart a partir del sufrimiento de Cristo y de su necesaria imitación. La lata escuela del abandono (gelassenheit) por él pregonada enseña al ser humano a mirarse en el espejo de Cristo, transformada en la Deidad. Pero quizás el rasgo más característico del pensamiento de Seuse sea su teoría de la imagen, que establece como método eficaz para alcanzar la ausencia de toda imagen. Superar las imágenes por medio de las imágenes se convierte así en una mistagógica destinada a mostrar la verdadera brecha que lleva a la Deidad.
