Synopsis "Unclaimed!: Reflections On Stories About Relational Abandonment (in English)"

'Unclaimed' was birthed out of deep concern about factors that destroy family relationships. As the author I was provoked to take on this special journey. One that fulfills a deep quest to find answers to questions associated with relational dismissiveness and isolation that lead to the eventual termination of friendship and other sacred relationships. It is a volume draped in concerns about separation and its impact upon human interaction at the divine and human level. Unclaimed raises questions; Why do we as humans who are capable of loving each other, eventually turn on each other, hurt each other, and then finally turn away from each other. Why is it that with time we become more relationally hostile than being prone toward genuine intimacy? Why do people push and pull away from each other so easily? "Unclaimed" seeks to provide a meaningful discourse for understanding the relational deficits recorded in the logbook of distorted relational lives. From a parade of questions, born out of my personal experiences and selected experiences from my client encounters, I was moved to returns to the biblical narrative and from the raw data I painfully discovered a profound explanation for this human fall out. From this exercise I was able to present a terse theological discourse for understanding the issue of relational dismissiveness. So, out of deep reflections, I dipped my digital pen into the inkpot of my own circumstances and bring to the surface this mind-gripping draft, which hopefully, will produce answers, if not considerations, that will help others like me to find some important resolution to the issue at hand. Unclaimed is a documentary that speaks to the experience of relational abandonment that causes emotional hurts in family encounters. It interferes with the equilibrium of intimacy, disrupts the emotional climate, and troubles the ecosystem in a relationship. Relational isolation in a family system produces unwanted relational changes in a family system. The resolution of such a crisis invites us to reckon with past pains, in order to recalibrate new approaches to a preferred future. This has to be a well-defined choice that requires deliberate and intentional review of the past, with the hope of rediscovering renewed relational verve and optimism, thus leaving behind the shades and shadows of the past forever. The material broods with thoughts and considerations that have been surprisingly absent from the table for discussion. As a reader you will be fascinated at the insights that surfaced on my horizon. You will come away with a new, if not improved, understanding of the subject. As a result, you will be better positioned to manage your own relational difficulties with greater optimism, when before, you might have been a hopeless pessimist. The brilliance of God's presence will provide courage for the journey and will transform yesterday's tears and liabilities into fresh and newly- formed assets. His Hands reach for you and will bring light and beauty into play; and He will recommend you for a new lease of relational life now and in the life to come.. This book has the currency and fluency that will clarify and consolidate the thinking of every reader. I recommend "Unclaimed!" to all with no reservations. I believe it is a beautiful piece on the subject of relational abandonment - a literary jewel worthy of a spot in your collection. It's a literary power punch that will knock you against the rope of your own expectations regarding the contents of this book. Hello! You are about to experience-"UNCLAIMED!" Dr. Dolston L.
