Das praxisnahe Kurzlehrbuch zur Einführung in die Ultraschalldiagnostik in aktualisierter Neuauflage. In die 2. Auflage wurden die kritische Beurteilung der Methode, Dokumentationshinweise und als neue Technik die Farbduplexsonographie aufgenommen. Der Leser lernt zunächst die richtige Schnittführung zur sonographischen Untersuchung der Weichteile und Gelenke kennen. Danach wird die normale Sonoanatomie durch Vergleich der Ultraschallbilder mit anatomischen Schnitten erläutert. Zahlreiche Abbildungen, die umfangreich ergänzt wurden, dokumentieren normale und pathologische Befunde, wobei vereinfachte Skizzen zu den Sonogrammen auch dem Anfänger die Orientierung erleichtern.
