Carli Stanford's life as a successful Denver advertising executive is turned upside down when she meets her parents' handsome neighbor, Rick Hansen, on a cold, dark, country road. Rick helps her after she crashes into a boulder when she swerves to avoid a deer. The following day, Carli runs into Rick again at the County Fair and accepts a date for dinner, but Rick stands her up. No call, no text! Monday morning, Rick turns up in Carli's office for an advertising presentation. Rick introduces himself as Eric Hansen and appears not to recognize Carli. To make matters worse, he 'accidentally' trips Carli during her presentation causing her to break the heel off one of her stilettos. Her only option: make the presentation in her bare feet. Soon, Carli receives apology flowers and dinner invitations from Rick and Eric. Does the man have a split personality? The answer to the mystery gives Carli a chance at love, but is she willing to put her heart out there? Having her heart broken once was enough. Is she willing to risk having it broken twice?
