Diffusion is the random motion of the ensemble particles from the higher concentration region to the lower concentration region or the net movement of a substance or from a region of higher concentration to a region of a lower concentration, due to random molecular motion. Diffusion is a widespread important process which occurs in both living and non-living organisms . Because diffusion occurs under different situations, conditions. Diffusion is of different types like active diffusion, passive diffusion, simple diffusion, facilitated diffusion, Dialysis, Osmosis etc.This chapter focuses the evaluation study of diffusion through bio membranes.. For this purpose some membranes, like egg membrane, animal membrane of different thickness and some synthetic membranes are also used. The drug transport across bio membranes takes place through the pores in the membrane . Also concentration of the aqueous solution plays an important role in the diffusion so also tried the different concentrations of the NaCl solution. Particularly in this study the diffusion of aqueous solution through the bio-membrane is studied by measuring the conductivity with the help of conductivity meter.
