Synopsis "Toxizität und Wirkungsmechanismus bei Hefen und Dermatophyten (in German)"

Die zunehmende Antibiotikaresistenz und die Nebenwirkungen der verfügbaren Antimykotika haben die Notwendigkeit erhöht, neue und wirksamere Antimykotika zu entwickeln. Unter den aus Pflanzen extrahierten Verbindungen gelten Flavonoide als mögliche Quellen für neue therapeutische Mittel gegen Pilz-, Bakterien- und Virusinfektionen. Der antimykotische Wirkmechanismus und die Toxizität von Fisetin, einem Flavonoid mit bereits nachgewiesener antimykotischer Aktivität gegenüber dem Cryptococcus neoformans-Spezies-Komplex und Dermatophyten, wurden bestimmt. Die vorgelegten Ergebnisse zeigen ein günstiges Profil, das zur Untersuchung und Entwicklung dieser Substanz für die Behandlung von Kryptokokkose und Dermatophytose führen könnte.
