Synopsis "Together Always: A Journey of Adoption and Beyond (in English)"

Born as an illegitimate child, Connie survives four foster homes and a stint in an orphanage before she is adopted at the age of four. Hearing other people say, "You look just like your mother." Connie longs to know who she looks like. When she is fifteen, her adopted father provides her with descriptions and backgrounds of her biological parents provided by the Adoption agency, asking her not to search until after he has died. Becoming an extraordinary musician, Connie forgoes a music scholarship to Gustavus Adolphus, to pursue a medical education which was thwarted by her evil stepmother. Marrying early, and not having the opportunity to continue her education, she raises three children with a controlling husband. Without having a mother of her own, she encounters unique experiences as she ventures through life on the farm, feeding hired hands and working at the hospital. Entering the Mrs. Minnesota competition, she earns the title in 1965-66, and goes on to compete for the Mrs. America title. Escaping an abusive marriage, Connie remarries and joins her new husband in Las Vegas, NV, where she becomes the office manager for his Veterinary clinic by day, and uses her musical talents, playing at the Sands Hotel with Wayne Newton by night. The thought of what her mother might think of her accomplishments never leaves her, and once her father dies, Connie begins the search for her relatives. Once the birth records are opened in Minnesota, Connie is put in touch with her biological father who was living in Phoenix. From there her search turns into a thirty-year long endeavor trying to find her biological mother. Viola Lundberg changed not only her last name through marriage, but also her first name, so it was like looking for a needle in a haystack until her relatives came looking for Connie through the Little Red Stocking adoption agency in Minnesota! They were looking for Connie. Eventually she discovers she is not an only child given up for adoption, but
