The Browns collected more family and were getting more crowded by the day. With more family, came more talent and ideas that could be used for the growth of the family businesses. Jost was a great entrepreneur and knew how to get things done and he knew how to motivate his workers as well. The family grew in size and continued to grow up, it was a large but close knit family. A lot of excitement was generated when the train extended to St. Johnsville and they could travel in relative comfort to see JB at Union in one day of travel.
