When I first began a regular and consistent practice of Thank You Note Thursdays a few years ago, I quickly found that this activity held a lot of power while taking just a little bit of time. The benefits of gearing into a mindset of gratitude and appreciation as the week comes to an end can give great closure to any kind of week, while reconnecting us to the people in our lives. It's like a positive feedback loop. I think of and thank a person, and in doing so, I feel all the positive feel-good emotions that come with gratitude. And hand-written thank you's somehow lend even greater amounts of positive feel-good feedback! But in spite of this, how often do we take part in writing Thank You Notes? Every now and then, and we miss all the benefits that come with it! I wanted to provide a format for you to be able to commit to this activity for one full year. Thursday's Note gives you a reason to pause every week and take a moment to be grateful for someone and connect or reconnect with them through writing a heartfelt thank you note. I've designed a different type of thank you note for each Thursday with the intention of making this a fun process of discovery, giving you 52 different reasons, ideas and ways to write a thank you.
