While this improved third edition is being forward to the press for publication I wish to make the following statement: It has been gratifying to my mine to note the marked reception that has already been accorded by my first and second edition it has found a warm spot in the heart many enthusiastic book-lovers some of who are Ministers, Judges, Lawyers, Medical Doctors, Chaplains, Libra rains of leading colleges and universities, for an instant The Atlantic Christians College, University of North Carolina, Shaw University and also the Historical library of Disciple of Christ, Nashville, Tenn., some have remarked that they hope I would write another a task which unfortunately I feel to say would be well nigh impossible nevertheless I have had vision and energy enough to supplement my first edition with some new Creations, like all creative writing the characters in my stories are fictitious with the exception of the one in which there are two brothers mention of dual names. These are real persons hence their real names, you may note also in one of my stories entitled Two Living Example of Moral Goodness I have Praised Mr. Miles T.
