This is the second book, of the Spirit of The Gods trilogy. The Whisperling continues with the telling of the first fall of a Celestros angel. Those who fell first were human. Samael, a man born with unusual powers is hand-picked by the Gods of Celestros. He becomes a warrior, but the demi-gods become jealous. They implement a plan to deceive and trick Samael, leading him to believe his children would befall a deadly fate. Because of their deception he fell from grace, but regained his humanity. A Whisper-ling child befriends Samael daughter Ishira. She tricks both children Nick by curiosity, Ishira by a friendly face. They are lost from their family and confined to the Darklands. The Whisperling is transformed by magic and transported to the 21st century, where she dispenses her special kind of torment and horror to an unsuspecting human race... the world is her oyster. Now, Samael's children must devise a plan to stop her, before she puts into action a plan to destroy all humanity.
