Synopsis "The Wadestown Holdup: A story involving trains (in English)"
The wades town hold-up is a trip back in time to 1909 by a railway enthusiast from New Zealand to experience what it was like to ride the trains plus meet some of the people whose lives become involved with them. Everything was new then and trains were the only alternative to the horse and trap. The story is set in Wellington New Zealand in 1909, when the world was a different place but human beings were not that different from people today. Nothing has changed in human desires, emotions and ambitions. The only thing that has changed is the lowering of societies values and what was considered unseemly is commonplace today.
