Synopsis "The Valley Of Moonfire (in English)"
Shannon Weatherill has survived poverty to finally achieve a decent life of her own. A little house, a cat, a forever boyfriend, and a steady job. Dangerous, but steady. Within two years, however, the forever boyfriend is gone, and the only other thing she wants in life besides her plane is about to disappear along with lost love. As her Piper leaves the tarmac and sails into bright skies, Shannon braces herself to stomp into a court room, protest a miscarriage of justice, and try to salvage her last, tiny, dream. Shannon has only one detour in her flight plan, to confront Joah Elan Eaglewing, forgive his treason against love of two years earlier, and put him behind her forever. Never would Shannon have imagined that the simple, short stop would change her life. Her Piper crashes, just outside the mountain hamlet of Bigtree, Washington, and she awakens with her thoughts and memories scrambled by a severe concussion. She struggles to survive the icy mountainside, and falls--into the arms of Joah Elan. As if things couldn't get any worse. Things get worse. Her brain trauma therapist tries to murder her, and is murdered. But why? Shannon has no idea who, or what she is. And no idea why a second assassin seems to be pursuing her with a vicious purpose that extends beyond just wanting her dead. With hope dwindling, she clings to the belief that a journey to her beloved valley meadow homeland, and Joah Elan, will unlock the doors closed so tightly behind her eyes, doors that hide an assassin.
