Synopsis "The Terrible Trows: A Rhyme for Older Boys (in English)"
Mike Newman is a qualified teacher and a professional freelance writer. Although he specialises in medical writing, occasionally he strays from the norm and follows his heart by writing for children. Currently he has created over 100 picture books for an educational establishment in Beijing. He is though aware that many children, and for myriad different reasons, struggle through life without ever having confidence in themselves as readers - and it is for this demographic which he enjoys, in his spare time, writing for most - reluctant readers. Sample from book: "The Hill-Trows they are evil, unseen or in disguise." "They hate all other creatures and plan for their demise."
