Synopsis "The Strength of a Man (in English)"
Men make up less than 1% of the 327,630 United States Breast Cancer diagnoses that are expected in 2020. Derrick Cameron, a breast cancer survivor, was a healthy man who was active, focused on his career, and passionate about bringing science, technology, engineering, and math opportunities to his local communities. His stubbornness to go and see a doctor when he found something wrong with his body could have cost him his life. His doctor's diagnosis of the cancer disease changed his life forever. In The Strength of a Man, he shares his experiences battling a disease that is mostly associated with women. He discusses how rare his diagnosis was, his consistently changing emotions, reactions from chemotherapy treatments, physical challenges introduced from an unfortunate event, lessons learned from his experience, relationships that failed, and his divine appointment.
