Synopsis "The Slave Mind and the Mind of God: Rebuilding Our Relationships Within the African American Home (in English)"

While going through a heart-aching relationship, there were many questions God seemed to be answering for me about my life as a Black woman time after time over the years. This book can help anyone in their life, but the focus is to change the way of thinking within the African American subculture, especially for women. It will inspire women to know who they really are, why we think the way we think and to understand why men think the way they think based on what God says. The mind of the African American man and the mind of God will show the importance of relationships between men and women within the African American subculture. It will help people by motivating each gender of their own uniqueness, and the significance of the need for each other that was set from the beginning of time by God. Born in San Jose, California, Jaysie Sheppard is a Retired Professional Basketball Player with 7 years experience Overseas and in the WNBA. Jaysie is an Ordained Chaplain Minister and was the Former President of TPAHOOPS a 501c Non-profit sport ministry for over 10 years. She has a Masters degree in Biblical Studies at FICU and a BA in communications with the focus of African American Studies at the University of Illinois at Chicago . Jaysie is a Certified Educator, and Inspirational speaker. She also has published other books such a "Spiritually Rapid" and is currently the CEO of the non-profit "We Rebuild Movement".
