Synopsis "The Randall Report: Bullied! Who, Me? (in English)"

Randall is an eight year old third grader who is having difficulties growing up and accepting responsibilities. His Mom and Dad expect him to take care of himself at home and his teacher, Miss Long, holds him responsible for class assignments and homework at school. Not everyone at school seems to like Randall. He has no idea why. Some older boys call him names and say mean things. Sometimes he thinks they are going to hurt him. Randall has heard about bullying, but does not recognize that it is happening to him. Randall's school friends, Max, Jorge and Margarete, try to help him in class when the brother of one of the older bullies calls Randall a liar. Randall has never told his friends about the older boys. He thinks he will lose their friendship. He has told one special friend, William, who lives in Randall's imagination. William is everything that Randall is not; tall, athletic and has straight hair. One day at lunch in the school cafeteria, a bad day got worse. Randall blamed himself for the entire lunch room getting in trouble. Principal Newhouse, Miss Long and even Rudy, the school custodian recognized that there was a problem with Randall. Later that evening during a talk Randall had with his dad, called The Randall Report, dad thought Randall was not telling him the entire truth about what happened in school that day. After a trip to the ice cream store, Randall's parents thought of a plan to help him feel better about growing up. Little did they know that Randall has a plan of his own.
