Her brief comical stay in an institution and job attempts are the talk of the town.An angel in disguise comes to their rescue. The Lindstroms, Lottie's adoptive family, are interwoven in this story. Is the Nez Perce treasure in Bergans Ferry?Fred Rubio, a Northwest author, came from a diverse family. He was raised in an old house next to a railyard in the 40's and 50's. As a boy, he escaped reality at times by daydreaming and could relate to the downhearted ones around him. His life experiences helped him create unique comical characters that are flawed but loveable. They stumble through life but are victorious at the end. A wholesome story for all ages.
