With more than thirty-five years of serving in ministry under my belt, I have observed that no matter how prepared we are for any occasion in ministry work, there is that one moment that seems to catch all of us unprepared. Through the grace of God, I have experienced the days of my youthfulness slowly mature into my present reality of the years drawing nigh (Ecclesiastes 12:1). I am gradually discovering the sharpness of my memory diminishing and my once youthful ability to retain large amounts of information on the decline as well. Possessing a helpful resource such as The Pulpit Pal becomes a valuable tool to own in the work of winning souls for Christ. (2 Timothy 2:15) declares: "that the believer should study to show themselves approved unto God as a workman that should not be ashamed of rightly dividing the word of truth" and it is hard to argue when you have the truth in your hands, in your memory, as well as in your heart. I have enjoyed using The Pulpit Pal in my many years of working in ministry, and I pray that others will have as much fun using this book as I have through the years.
