Synopsis "The Princess and the Search for Pearls: The Story of Our Origin (in English)"
Princess Uchechukwu is a curvy, clumsy, tough-minded, hard working but overly pampered only adopted daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Uchechukwu, who takes risks for a living and having a complete control of her life. She lives with her family in a small city on the outskirts of the fledgling nineteenth century community of Riverside in Nigeria. Growing up was fun as she was provided with all her needs. For Princess, pearls were affluence, influence and wealth, which she sought for and all her works were to achieve these as she walks the sands of time.Princess graduated from the University with a certificate of learning in History and International Relation but failed to obtain an award in good character.She had drawn a line in her mind but her father wants her to cross it. He knew that mere rendezvous would not get her there.Her father was a light-hearted man who wishes someone would take him seriously, but unlike her mother, he could only bark but not bite.Afraid of losing touch with her daughter, he agrees to dance to the tune that Princess plays because a deviation from such will leak his age long secret.Meeting Rose, her childhood friend who is a trained cohort of civil right leadership, whose principles project more than her personality, changed something for her.Soon after the death of her father, a tremendous battle for survival ensues. Fleeing was not an option as the admonitions of her father that pursues her is seemingly never-ending.Over weeks, Princess realizes that she will never be free until she deals with these monsters around her and she decided to wage an epic war after much planning and with some help from Rose.That landed her a job in the same multinational firm her friend Rose works with. Her ethical and proficient prowess was so obvious that her bosses and employees respected her. With such healthy principles and right attitude to duty, her team heads the highest producing division in the firm, earning her the position of a director.
