Synopsis "The Peace Within (in English)"
The Peace Within is a compelling and powerful story of the Moore family and their unexpected encounters with people, problems, and the past. The story is told from the standpoint of the narrator, Ino, an adult now that reflects on a particular time in her life at age eleven that changed her life and that of her family's. It is a story of how faith, prayer, and patience changed their lives and those around them. The narrator takes us from Kentucky to Alabama to San Francisco and back through reflections, letters, and encounters. The time is 1994 with a reflective look to 1972. Through the narrator's eyes we weave in and out of her life to get a glimpse into the family's past, present, and future. We meet many people along the way that have a profound impact on the narrator and her family. It is a time that Ino and her family live through and survive because of their faith and patience with assurance from their inner peace.
