The Patriarchs deals with the relationship between fathers and sons, and explores the roles that fate and circumstance can play in a person's life. Tim Roberts is a family man. Twenty years later, Tom Roberts is struggling to cope with his identity and providing for his family. On the opposite side of the law, helpless and caving under the burden of the household, Tom faces the same decisions as his father and finally learns the truth behind his madness. When the former associate enters the picture with a hold on the family, Tom must right the wrongs of the past and free them once and for all.
