Synopsis "The Negro Still Is Not Free (in English)"
There's an old Blues legend about Robert Johnson, and how he sold his soul to the Devil at a cross-road to become the greatest guitar player ever. Nowadays, it seems as if every direction the Negro turns he's standing in the midst of a cross-roads, looking into a trader's eyes who's promising him gold for his labor, more than they are earning in his own country. The contract was signed with blood, the agreement was that Robert Johnson sends as many souls to hell with his music as he can. Robert Johnson sold out a lot of Black people, and the Negro today is still selling Black people out just for the Devil's promised gold. The title of this book comes from a chorus in a Ghetto Boys song called 'NO SELL OUT'; which echoes: The Negro, The Negro The Negro, Still is not Free- No Sell Out!
