Synopsis "The Naked Truth: A Woman Who Survived the Hands of a Man (in English)"

Hailey is a caramel skinned, long curly hair girl who grew up in the south. She is full of life with a personality greater than one can imagine. Unfortunately, her childhood events led to painful trials and tribulations as a young adult. She experienced an abusive relationship as a teen from her much older boyfriend, Alfred. She became distant from family and friends during the time of the relationship. The choice to stay in the abusive relationship stemmed from Hailey witnessing Johnny, her mom's boyfriend, being a bad example of what it means for a man to "love" a woman. Although Hailey knew from the physical, mental, and verbal pain that this could not be love, it is all she knew. After finally getting the courage to leave Alfred for good, the journey began of Hailey finding herself without looking for validation from a man. This is where the true Hailey was born.
