It was a bright summer day in Tigard, Oregon. The sky was bright blue with few clouds. I pulled up in a white Ford Ranger to an Enterprise Rent-a-Car. I was a white man with jewelry of pentacles with my gold high school class ring and a black Gears of War t-shirt and a pair of jeans. I had a beard covering only my chin and mouth and my cheeks were shaved. I shook nervously, knowing that I was out of a job for more than three years. Tyler gave me a look of amusing interest in what I had to say. "You can tell me anything," replied Tyler. I rested the brush I held onto the car and flashes various scars I had on my left hand and a tattoo of a severed warrior's head above the brand. On the shoulder of my right arm, I showed an open flesh wound with lightning traveling on the muscles and unfolded the pentacle necklace. Tyler looks horrified at what he was seeing and nervously asks me, "What are you?" "My friends know me as Crazy Ass White Boy," I said as I began to expel my inner shyness and grew a feeling in my gut that I finally have someone to open myself to. Tyler laughed in an indication that he couldn't believe what he just heard. "Really? Why's that?" Tyler asked as he giggled softly. I smiled as I spoke, "Well. I will tell you."
