It was started by the Apostle Paul and a couple by the name of Priscilla & Aquila, who helped him in many ways. The city of Corinth was a strategically located place. There was much traffic that came thru the city. Because of this the church was a witness to people who were saved and then went to other places. So, it was a critical church to the Kingdom at that time! Even though it was used greatly by God, the church had many problems. It allowed itself to be influenced by the surrounding culture which was extremely wicked and immoral. Many of the church would not separate themselves from living like the world. Thus, there was a lot of open sin in their midst that didn't seem to bother them. I know you will enjoy this study and God will bless your life as He speaks to your heart.
