After purchasing a house in Santa Fe, Alberto finally confesses the violence he committed in Mexico. His penance? To provide good employment and spiritual guidance to men in need in the small community of Mora. Meanwhile, another idealistic young person has begun using her precious education and family power to help the less fortunate in Mora County. And when Alberto and Maria meet, a tentative romance blossoms...
