When Miguel nearly runs over the Lord in his pickup truck and sees him again driving a bus, he is told to "Go" but isn't told where he is to go to. His encounters with the Lord send him on a memorable journey from the fertile coastal valleys of California to the untamed Mexican deserts and sprawling beaches of his home state of Michoacán.
