Synopsis "The Living Word: The Holy Spirit and the Word of god (in English)"
"The Living Word" is vitally important to us because without it, there can be no change within us. The Word of God, or the Bible, is just a religious manual unless the Holy Spirit breathes life into it. I like to think of it as a spiritual mouth to mouth resuscitation. The Holy Spirit breathing on the Word is what makes it "living and active and sharper than a two-edged sword." This is why someone who is not "Born Again" can read it and never really receive truth through it. Why? Because, "a natural man does not accept the things of the Spirit of God: because they are foolishness to him, and he cannot understand them because they are spiritually appraised." This is why we need, today more than ever, "The Living Word!" Dr. Russell (Rusty) Houser has been the Senior Pastor of New Life Church in Vidalia, Georgia for the last 23 years.
