Synopsis "The Liberal Reform of Honduras from 1876 and the coming of Modernity, new Technologies, new Artefacts, Material Culture and the Publicity and their im (in English)"

The History book about one of the most important events in the History of Honduras, the Liberal Reform of 1876 of Ramon Rosa and Marco Aurelio Soto. The book entails those precious years from 1876 to 1883 and how during those seven years Honduras became from an isolated state in communication roads and ways and outside the world s economy and capitalism, towards a country with a relationship with the outside world. The book entails with sources that speak for themselves, through books, Statistical Yearbooks and Censuses how the population in Honduras changed from the obscurantism and almost in a feudal relationship of production, that had a high regard of the production to the land and the crops towards a more capitalistic change with the coming of the foreign capital investment. Honduras with the coming of American capital, there is the start of the mining enclave in the Rosario Mining Company and the banana enclave in the Atlantic coast. There is the coming of the trains and railroads in the north coast but the Reformers dreams of an interoceanic trains and railroads are destroyed by the difficulty of the Honduran geography and terrains and in one of the tragedies of the Reform, Honduras is hugely indebted to the British who credited and loaned the money for the failed enterprise of joining Honduras Pacific and Atlantic Oceans with trains. The History of the Liberal Reform of Honduras is a story of how the Honduran population met the new technologies, artefacts, and with the coming of the telegraph with the Rosario Mining Company, the communication channels would be shorten. Hondurans could see through the journals, newspapers how the new publicity exposed the new imports products and the new modern products. The book is about the Liberal Reform of Honduras the story of progress that the Liberal Reform of Honduras searched, the idea of a better future and progress.
