When astronaut Amy Takahashi set out for a long duration mission on the international space station she never suspected that she would witness the destruction of the Earth from orbit. After the Earth is the recipient of an extraterrestrial biological attack from space, Amy manages to survive on the space station for two years. But when the space station starts breaking down Amy is forced to make a descent back to the Earth. Finding herself the only human being left alive she will travel all across the United States searching for survivors and loved ones while trying to out run a hideous new species of bloodthirsty mutated humans who have taken over the Earth, and who might just be only the first wave of an invasion from space. This is a post-apocalyptic zombie vampire novel about one woman against an entire world of billions of hideous mutant monsters out for her blood. Starting out on the international space station and then traveling all across the United States she will go from city to city searching for survivors and fleeing from the inevitable mutants she finds there as she worries whether there are more invaders coming.
