However, he is restrained by the dictates of his faith when it comes to revealing the identity of Gabriel's parents, which he learned through a confession. He conducts life as a devout Christian, and at one critical juncture, he is challenged to make a decision that goes against his faith. He exercises his free will, and his life will forever change.Gabriel, suffocated by the regimentation of the orphanage, finds solace in his friends. Life outside the orphanage is a challenge for the children and they help each other to overcome it. This story is a remarkable illustration of their friendship.Gabriel follows his passion for football and goes to a football academy run by a former Brazilian national team player, Carlos Da Silva. Carlos teaches him skills necessary for both the game and life. Gabriel becomes a successful soccer player. However, Selena's thoughts linger in his mind.
