Synopsis "The Holy Spirit and the Ministry of Prayer (in English)"

The Bible's greatest exemplar of prayer is Christ. The scriptures are filled with prayers that have been studied over the entire spectrum of the history of the Bible. Jesus of course is the main focus of study and scrutiny because he had the most intimate relationship with God of any earth being. And, we can study how to talk to God by following the example of Christ. He didn't pray the same way every time. His prayers were directed to specifics matters and driven by different motives. He understood how to enter the presence of God, because he hailed from the presence of God and claimed oneness with God and therefore, was the template of how prayer is to be offered. He knew that prayer is a covenant of interdisciplinary actions, attitudes, and affirmations that when understood produces the harvest of our desires, over and over again to the Glory of God. He knew that prayer is more than words meticulously formed in the mouth; it is the outpouring of the heart unto the center of worship and praise. There is absolutely no use of pretending in the presence of God. If we are coming with the expectation of trying to impress God with our intellectual or artistic flair with words; there is really no need to come at all. The Holy Spirit sees through every facade and pretense. Psalm 34: 18 beautifully frames what God seeks when we stand before him to offer any form of prayer. "The Lord is nigh unto them that are of a broken spirit and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit."
