The rather ordinary lives of four university students are derailed by supernatural beings and their cult followers. There is nowhere to run, save for a mysterious portal that transports them five hundred years in the past, to a rugged island in the north Atlantic. Here, the cult's origins come to bear, and the Norse legends are more reality than myth. Lawlessness reigns upon the moors, and in the heights, humans are the objects of prey.
