Synopsis "The Heart of Moab (in English)"
Achsah's lively, vivacious, and free-spirited, adorned in jewels and fine cloth. She's the 'mall-girl' of Bible times, a Moabitess who delights in the marketplace, freedom, and fun. Toi, a village stoneworker, is entertained by the challenges Achsah presents, yet he vows his heart will never be swayed in her direction for long and that she would be the last woman that he'd ever bring home to his family. Yet, who can predict how sorrow might turn a path and change a course? When Toi finds Achsah, alone and troubled, with little hope for her future, and scorned by others, he rethinks his earlier decision. She accepts the hasty marriage deal he proposes, yet Achsah and Toi are left with uncertainty and misgivings, and they realize that their ill-fated union comes at a cost. Are they willing to pay the price for their redemption? And will Adonai save them and their marriage while they still have a chance?
