She begins to feel an otherworldly connection to him that makes her question her sanity, until one day she discovers that he is real! To her surprise, she finds her unnatural and uncontrollable attraction to him exciting and terrifying because if the dreams were correct that he did exist, than maybe they were correct about what he was, a vampire! As the dreams continue, the mysterious woman hints at an inherited supernatural power in Elisabeth. To her horror, she learns that if she doesn't figure out how to harness this power than Nicholas, the man she has fallen in love with, will die at the hands of the very things she was sent to protect him from.
