The Handbook will make sense of today's complex world in a way that anyone can understand. When you learn that there are millions, and probably billions of universes around us, it is not difficult to understand that profound and powerful forces are required to keep everything in order, in play and in balance. Our planet is part of one of those universes. We are, therefore, subject to the same general forces as the others, depending what our 'needs' are at any given time. We may require more cosmological support than most because of the abundance active life forms that our planet supports. What does this examination of the universe have to do with or for you? Everything. With both human generated and nature-based activities around the world reaching increasingly chaotic and dangerous levels, we find ourselves looking for answers to questions that we do not even know how to ask. After reading The Handbook for the Future people will be able to say: "Finally, I have a sense of what is really going on with the planet - what is happening, and why it is happening that way." The vision and understanding that this knowledge creates for you will provide a powerful base to reside in as the world continues to change dramatically around you. What is the basis for hope in the future? We are not approaching the end of our civilization, as much as it might seem that way. It is simply a matter of cosmological-astrological physics that our world will not end if the New Age is emerging. The prior sentence is a cosmological truth regarding how the universe works. The astrological sign Aquarius is providing the power and the pathway for positive side of this journey that we, our planet and the New Age are embarking on. On the negative side, Nature is now 'taking the planet back' through a process that I call Evolving Backwards. This is a reversal from the earth's normal, positive pattern of life and growth back to more sustainable types and levels of activity. It needs to do this so that it can prepare for its next cycle of life. By saying 'opposing' I do not mean that they are competing with or fighting one another, but that one of them (Cosmology) has a negative effect on the planet, and (Astrology) has a positive effect. These realms of these two phenomena are the primary originators and drivers of much of the important change that is occurring on the planet. Cosmology is the branch of philosophy that deals with the origins and general physical structure of the universe. The cosmological side is driving the negative changes on the physical plane of the planet. The changes are manifest as natural catastrophes and related physical phenomena including war and terror. I use the term Planetary Cosmology because we are referring to aspects of cosmology that operate on the earth at the planetary level. Evolving Backwards is actually a Cosmological Reset. The forces that are powering the reset of our planet to earlier levels of activity have their origins out in the fabric of the universe.
