Ignorant of whom God is and how He acts in foolishness of obedience is not an excuse to any man in any generation. Rules are for the obedience of fools and the guidance of wise men. We were ensnared by the wisdom of the serpent; we are set free by the foolishness of obedience of God. The foolishness of the cross is the wisdom of God and the wisdom of God is powerful in its impact. God has neither form nor shape under which we can know Him; when He speaks of Himself in metaphors and similes, He is adapting Himself to our foolishness, our limited capacity. We cannot grasp the total objective of God for our live unless we see that the bottom line is foolishness of obedience to His will. Though foolishness of obedience is a neglected doctrine, it is the only tool that can unify man with God for signs and wonders to manifest. Foolishness of obedience is hard because it demands you to act and back it up with attitude. Until you act foolishly in order to obey His foolish Word, the Word of the cross will continue to be foolish unto you. Always remember that "For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God" (1Cor.1:18).
