They gave large donations, and expected absolution for their sins. The Mafia women were no different than the men. The confessions almost made Father Kent lose faith in humanity. He too was a sinner and found himself in shameful situations. A priest is still a man, a man with temptations and anger. It wasn't long before Father Kent needed absolution too.
