Further reports have shown that Sylvia Kristel had throat cancer and had battled against this disease throughout 10 whole years. Basically, the actress was diagnosed with cancer in 2001, therefore, had to undergo three courses of chemotherapy. Unfortunately, after the surgery the cancer seems to have spread via her lungs. This could medically explain why she suffered from a stroke which had led to her death...
