Synopsis "The Captain of the Pole Star (in English)"
Sir Arthur Canan's The captain of the pole star, revolves around reasons that are not clear, Nicholas Craigie, Captain of the Pole Star, chooses to anchor in the arctic ocean. Without a doubt, the boat could be caught in the ice at any moment, bringing an unexpected death for everybody. After a few days, one morning, Mr. Manson, the second partner, said he saw ghosts around at night; however, nobody took his story seriously. A few days later, sailor Milne claimed to have seen a spirit around the boat.One evening, the captain leaves the boat and disappears into the darkness as if he was following some shadow. What happens to the Captain? Is he alive or dead?
