Battling these strange emotions that shouldn't be there, she is sent on an assassination mission to Hester II. Lieutenant Mark Evans was second-in-command to Captain Niklas Skaar. Having come to terms with his part in the rebellion against the atrocities by Earth's government, he oversees the planning of defenses for Hester II. When he comes face-to-face with the assassin, his feelings cause a conflict with his obligations. He is faced with disobeying his commanding officer once again or reaching out to the beautiful assassin in what might be a futile attempt to save her.
